About Ms. B
Hi there! My name is Kayla Brinkman and I am a curriculum designer, instructor, and the founder of B.E.E. Home Education. But before I was any of these things, I was a homeschooler. Growing up, I struggled in public, charter, and private schools. The conventional methods of education suppressed natural learning and hindered my ability to thrive. Recognizing this, my mom offered me an alternative through homeschooling—a decision that has profoundly influenced my life and career.
This tailored educational experience allowed me to unlock my full potential, leading me to earn my Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees in History and Archival Science, with a minor in Special Education. Inspired by my journey, I have now dedicated my career to curriculum development and education, driven by a vision to transform educational practices. I want to change the way parents and teachers approach education and how students view it. Curriculum should be made to fit a learner's needs, not the other way around.
